About the book:
’18 Via Teen- Be yourself’ the name says it all. It enumerates the various phases of a teen and the hopes, aspirations, apprehensions, ambiguity, insecurity, dilemma, restlessness and sensitiveness, associated with each phase. Each story vividly depicts the psychological aspects of a teenage girl/boy and how the intuition helps her/his to overcome the hurdles one after another, which in teen makes her/his matured.
First of all i would like to dedicate this book to all teenagers out there from my side 😉
I found it to be a beautiful collection of short stories, each exploring each or may be different shades or phases in teenage life. There is an inspiring thought base to each story and they will bring you memories of your childhood and teenage.
What impressed me most is the head quote to every story like ” Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear” .. even the names are catchy … like “Justice doesn’t mean satisfaction”. Some stories are really good and some took the average , some made feel i want more , some could have been better. Overall its a mixed package. The writing can be improved. Also the book cover design was not appealing to me.
I would rate this book 3.5/5 🙂
